2025-2026 season schedule has confirmed

Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort is a ski destination located in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

I'm a Tokyo-based snowboarder with more than 20 years on the slopes. As a father of two, I enjoy riding natural terrain and side hits, and I'm passionate about helping international visitors discover the best of Japan's ski resorts. Off the slopes, I love family time, dogs, and soaking in Japanese onsen.
A perfect mix for beginners, intermediates, and experts
Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort offers 44 runs and about 50 km of skiable terrain, making it one of Japan’s largest resorts. From wide beginner slopes to steep advanced runs and ungroomed powder, the variety satisfies all skill levels.
Panoramic vistas from 1,650 meters
The high-altitude slopes are blessed with light, dry powder throughout the season. From the summit, you can enjoy sweeping views of Mt. Myoko and the Northern Japanese Alps.
13 public baths for après-ski relaxation
At the base of the slopes lies a historic hot spring village featuring 13 free public baths. After skiing, you can wander through the charming streets, soaking in the local culture and healing waters.
Where old Japan meets a global ski community
Nozawa Onsen combines centuries-old hot spring traditions with a lively international ski crowd. The village offers diverse dining options, bars, and a vibrant nightlife scene.
