Happo-One ended ski operations early on 19 April

Hakuba Happo-One ended ski and snowboard operations on 19 April 2026. The resort had planned to stay open until 6 May, but fast snowmelt made it hard to keep the runs safe.

The Happo Alpine Line, which is the gondola and some lifts, kept running for sightseeing and trekking until 6 May. Guests with unused lift tickets could use them for sightseeing in this period. The resort does not give refunds and does not carry tickets over to the next season.

This early end shows how fast the snow melted in spring 2026. For a late-season trip, it is a good idea to check the resort snow updates before you travel.
