Five steps, in order. Tick each one off as you go. Rooms and lessons need months of notice. Gear and lift tickets need none.

Step 2Apr – Jun6+ months for peak weeks
Book your room
- Book a cancellable room once your dates are set
- Check hotel official websitesAugust. Some rooms are not on booking sites.
- Compare winter ratesSeptember. Winter rates open at many hotels.
Peak weeks (Dec 24 – Jan 4)? Book by June–September. Going in March? Rooms are often still available in December.
