Beginners can ski the full length
The longest run, Alpha 5000, is 5,000 meters from the summit to the base. Its average gradient is gentle, so even new skiers can ski the whole way down. 45% of the courses are rated for beginners, the highest beginner share among the large Okumino resorts.
1,600 m with a wide mountain panorama
Meiho's summit is 1,600 meters, the highest in the Okumino area. On a clear day, the view stretches to Mount Ontake, the Northern Alps, and the Hakusan range. There is a viewing deck terrace at the top for taking in the scenery and photos.
A softer mountain for first-timers
Meiho's slopes are gentler on average than nearby Takasu, which makes it a calmer choice for families with young or first-time skiers. There is a kids snow play area for small children, and the resort is known for its food, including a popular burger.
