Ishiuchi Maruyama plans to open on 18 December 2026

Ishiuchi Maruyama plans to open on Friday, 18 December 2026 for the 2026-2027 winter season. The season is planned to run until Sunday, 4 April 2027. Last season it opened on 19 December.

Some lists on social media show 19 December for Ishiuchi. The resort's official website and its season pass announcement both say 18 December.

Night skiing is planned from 26 December 2026 to 27 February 2027, and on nights before holidays in March.

For families, children aged 3 and under ride free. The resort has not published its 2026-2027 day ticket prices yet.

Ishiuchi sits in the Yuzawa area, about 1 hour 45 minutes from Tokyo. Take the Joetsu Shinkansen to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, then a bus or taxi (about 15 to 20 minutes).
