Hakuba Iwatake opened for 2025-2026 on 19 December

Iwatake opened for the 2025-2026 winter season on 19 December 2025. It sits on an independent peak, 1,289 metres high, with a 360-degree view of the Northern Alps.

Iwatake is built for both skiers and non-skiers. The HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR view terrace and its cafes look out over the mountains, and you can ride the gondola up just for the view. The base area has a kids park with sleds, snow tubes, and a moving walkway, which is good for a child's first day in the snow. This season the resort also renewed its base building.
