Kagura opened early for 2025-2026, on 22 November

Kagura•Yuzawa

Kagura opened for the 2025-2026 winter season on 22 November 2025. In recent years it opened in December, so this was an early start.

Kagura has three areas: Kagura, Mitsumata, and Tashiro. The Kagura and Mitsumata areas are open from 22 November 2025 to 17 May 2026. The Tashiro area is open from 20 December 2025 to early May 2026. Kagura sits high in the mountains, so it often has good snow late into spring.
