Seki Onsen: a small deep-powder area, open late December to early May

Seki Onsen is a small ski area in Myoko, Niigata, in one of the snowiest places in the world. For 2025-2026, it ran from 25 December 2025 to 5 May 2026, open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Seki Onsen is known for deep, light powder snow. In spring, the slope becomes a terrain park. The base of the slope is a small hot-spring town, so you can ski and then soak in the red, iron-rich onsen water.
