上雪季烧额山于12月6日开滑，今年提前两天。雪季能延续到5月上旬，春季出行时也值得考虑。
对家庭来说，在烧额山，小学生及以下儿童可免费乘坐缆车。
烧额山位于志贺高原地区，从东京出发约3小时30分钟。乘北陆新干线到长野站，再换乘开往志贺高原的快速巴士和雪场接驳车。
