Fujimi Panorama Resort is a ski resort in the Suwa area of Nagano, Japan, known for being easy to reach and for its very sunny weather. It has one of the highest rates of clear days of any resort in the region, with big views of the surrounding mountains, and it is only a few minutes from the Suwaminami exit on the Chuo Expressway.
The resort has 7 courses, with a top elevation of about 1,780 m, a vertical drop of about 730 m, and a longest run of about 3,000 m. Because it gets little natural snow, most of the snow is made by machine, which the resort is known for keeping in good condition. The level split is about 30% beginner, 40% intermediate, and 30% advanced. Note that the long 3 km gondola run has a steep advanced section in the middle with no detour, so it is not suitable for beginners; the beginner runs are two shorter slopes near the base.
From Tokyo, it is reachable by car on the Chuo Expressway or by the Chuo Line train to Fujimi Station.
