GALA Yuzawa closed for the season on 6 May

GALA Yuzawa ended its 2025-2026 winter season on 6 May 2026. The season started on 20 December 2025, so it ran into the Golden Week holidays.

The ski area starts high, at about 800 metres at the top of the gondola, so it keeps snow well into spring. Because the train goes straight to the resort, it is an easy late-season day trip from the Tokyo area.
