Norikura opened for the 2025-2026 winter season on 13 December 2025. The resort planned to run until early April 2026.

Hakuba Norikura is known for deep powder snow. It shares a common lift ticket with the next-door Hakuba Cortina, so one pass covers 28 courses across both resorts. Ski-in and ski-out hotels with onsen sit at the base.
