Hakuba Norikura closed early, on 29 March

Norikura ended its 2025-2026 winter season on 29 March 2026. The resort had planned to stay open until 5 April, but higher-than-expected temperatures and fast snowmelt led to an early close.

Hakuba Norikura is a lower resort, so its snow can melt quickly in a warm spring. For the best snow here, plan your trip between January and early March.
