每次带孩子来栂池，我们都会从"钟鸣之丘"（Kane no Naru Oka）开始——这是全白马最宽阔、最开放的初学者雪道。没有障碍物，没有视线死角，站在坡面任何位置都能看到自己的孩子。要注意栂池位于小谷村，离白马中心约20–30分钟——不过到了之后，需要的一切都在场内。

Roughly 3.5 hours from Tokyo — plan a night. The Alpico bus continues past Happo and Iwatake to Tsugaike, so no transfer; it's in the higher fare band. Most departures need no reservation, a few winter services are reservation-only.

带家人去“钟鸣之丘”——白马最安全的坡面
白马最宽、最缓的单一坡面，没有视野死角
钟鸣之丘（Kane no Naru Oka）是整个白马最宽、最平缓的单一坡面——一整片开阔的大缓坡，没有任何视野死角。站在坡面任何位置都能看到自己的孩子，躲避其他滑雪者的空间也非常充裕。有一点要注意：它和主区域不在同一个山脚，需要先坐缆车到半山，再滑下去才能到达。另外因为海拔最低，雪季初期和末期积雪偏薄时可能不开放。
家庭友好，不滑雪的人也尽兴
英语课程、足汤、DJ台，山脚还有立饮吧
栂池是白马对家庭最友好的雪场之一，通过Evergreen滑雪学校可以轻松预约英语课程。而山脚区域的乐趣不止滑雪——有足汤、立饮吧，甚至还有DJ台，同行不滑雪的人也不会无聊。想找一座全家每个人都能过好一天的雪场，就是这里。

Equipment Rental
Full rental sets available on-site. Reserve in advance during peak season.
Ski set: ¥5,000/day • Snowboard set: ¥5,500/day. All equipment is regularly maintained and sanitized.
Payment Methods
Credit cards accepted at ticket counters and restaurants. Cash preferred at some smaller vendors. ATMs available at the resort center. Contactless payments supported.
Best Time to Visit
January to February for the best powder conditions. Weekdays are less crowded than weekends. Early morning sessions offer the freshest snow.
Accommodation
Various lodging options from budget to luxury available. Book early during peak season (Dec-Mar). Many hotels offer ski-in/ski-out access. Hot spring facilities available at select accommodations.
Dining Options
Multiple restaurants and cafes on-site and nearby. Try local specialties and hot pot dishes. International cuisine also available. Reservations recommended for dinner during peak season.

Tsugaike ran a long season and closed on 6 May
Tsugaike ran a long 2025-2026 season and closed on 6 May 2026. The top Tsuga-no-mori run still had about 96 centimetres of snow near the end.
Tsugaike in Hakuba will open from December 1st.
Hakuba Tsugaike opened for the 2025-2026 season on 1 December 2025. The start was first delayed by low snow, then confirmed once conditions improved.
Kids can ski free across 14 resorts with the NSD Kids Program
Through the NSD Kids Program, children can ski at 14 group resorts, including Tsugaike, for one small fee. The fee was 1,800 yen until 31 January 2026, then 3,500 yen.

For Tsugaike, I would recommend the Bell Ringing Hill slope. It is probably the widest slope in the Hakuba Valley, and anyone can enjoy it.
Take the JR Chuo Line to Otsuki Station (1.5 hours), then take a bus to Fujiten (30 minutes). The total journey takes about 2 hours, making it perfect for day trips from Tokyo.
