Goryu opened for the 2025-2026 winter season on 4 December 2025. The 2025-2026 winter was its 55th season.

Goryu shares one lift ticket with the next-door Hakuba47. Together they form a connected area of three zones and 24 courses, joined at the top of the mountain. The base building, Escal Plaza, has rentals, shops, and the Ryujin-no-Yu onsen. The lower Iimori area has gentle slopes and a kids park for families.
