轻井泽于2026年3月31日结束2025-2026冬季雪季。滑雪场自2025年11月1日开滑，因此拥有从初冬到春季的漫长雪季。
轻井泽海拔低于大型高山滑雪场，并以人工造雪为主，因此开季较早，收季也较早，在3月底结束。如果想在初冬或3月进行靠近东京的家庭滑雪之旅，这里是不错的选择。
