Akakura opened for 2025-2026: Onsen and Kanko areas

Akakura in Myoko has two ski resorts next to each other: Akakura Onsen and Akakura Kanko. A common lift ticket lets you ski both.

Akakura Onsen is a large, gentle area that suits beginners and families, right by the Akakura hot-spring town. Akakura Kanko, also called Akakan, reaches higher, to about 1,500 metres, with a long run of more than 4 kilometres and the Akakura Kanko Hotel at the base. Akakura Kanko opened for the 2025-2026 season on 19 December 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
