Tsugaike confirms 1 December opening

Tsugaike Mountain Resort opens on Tuesday, 1 December 2026 for the 2026-2027 winter season, and plans to close on Wednesday, 5 May 2027. Last season it also opened on 1 December. The resort says the opening date may change with weather and snow.

This season the resort has added 18 new snowmaking machines, mainly for the Hannoki slope and the Yuki-no-Hiroba area. The new T3 lift is planned to start in late December, so it will not run on opening day.
